September 19, 2006MÖTLEY CRÜE performed last night (Monday, September 18) at the Hard Rock Cafe in New York City as part of the restaurant chain's Ambassadors Of Rock promotion. The band, who were joined on stage by AEROSMITH frontman Steven Tyler for their rendition of THE BEATLES classic "Helter Skelter", also donated memorabilia from their recent tours to the Hard Rock's collection, including guitars and a full drum kit. Proceeds from the invitation-only event, which was hosted by comedian and "Saturday Night Live" alumnus Jim Breuer, will go to the Chris Farley Foundation. The organization was founded by the family of the late actor and "Saturday Night Live" castmember Chris Farley to help young people avoid substance abuse. Other attendees at the event included Vinnie Paul (PANTERA, DAMAGEPLAN),Scott Ian (ANTHRAX),Matt Sorum (VELVET REVOLVER, ex-GUNS N' ROSES),and Evan Seinfeld (BIOHAZARD).
